My old stinky sneakers finally fell apart! I have new ones here... any tips to keep these ones from ever smelling?

As much as that is possible at least.

I was putting dryer sheets in my old sneakers every week, it got so bad.

Just curious, what brand "fell apart" and how long do you think you had them?

Scrub the feet before you put them on. Put in the SUN afterwards - air out. (We sweat the most from our feet)

Put them in a pillow case and wash them at 40 degrees. Put them in the centre of a reasonable load too. This, and the case, is to stop them rattling and thudding about in the machine.

Dry in an airing cupboard. Tumble dry is possible too.

This is if they are synthetic or fabric or vegan. Leather is different, you shouldn't really machine wash, but you can just do it anyway. Just not so often.

Then there is all these spray on odour eaters

Wear socks and put Odor Eaters in them. Change the Odor Eaters frequently.

Ok, well I believe they are widely available, try googling a company called "Scholl" they are a leading footcare company. Charcoal insoles are made from a couple of layers of charcoal, impregnated between two layers of material, they are said to be highly effective.

Sure haven't you seen the movie Holes you can soak them or mabe soak a cloth and put the cloth in you shoes when your not wearing them LOL. Be kinda uncomfortable with your feet in them and the cloth.
