I think a child is a bigger commitment than a ring!

Best Answer

not to everybody, having a child with somebody doesn't automatically mean you have to stay with that person or even stay in the child's life, the guy could turn out to be a jerk..

Best Answer

...and the ring can be taken back and pawned. A child is a lifelong commitment, you will always have contact with that person, even if the relationship ends.

Best Answer

so many fathers and mothers abandon their children and have no contact what so ever

I'm not married and our relationship has lasted much longer than the average marriage and we have a daughter. Being married is nothing more than a ring and a license.

I'd ask him if he can afford to pay child support for 18 years along with daycare, school, and so forth, or marry you before the child is born so that you can count on his support either way.<br />

We men love sex but many of us won't pay the costs involved with raising the resulting children. Don't let him get away with being a deadbeat dad. All children deserve a father and a mother to raise them, set a good example, teach them about life, respect, obeying the law, and the thousands of other things that they need to lean and understand before they become adults.

Well you say older bf ok does that mean you're currently in a relationship and IF you are your question would need no answer of course you'd know you shouldn't do that but IF you're single and you want a child too and can take care of it then you decide

First of all, there should be no pressure to have a child. And second, you need to ask yourself are you ready for a child and do you both have the means to support the child when it comes along. If you feel as ready as he does and you're of a legal age, then have one. If you have any doubt at all, I would suggest that you don't because a child is for life. You need to talk to your boyfriend about this.

well, you say whatever you feel. having kids is a very serious choice, which should not be taken lightly. if you feel that you are not ready than say so, you dont want for the kids to suffer in the prosess, or to screw up your life.

Watch the older BF disappear like a cheap card trick once you are pregnant or have delivered a child. Money does funny things to people.
