My Mother was Nurse at St. Elizabeth's Mental Hospital when one oh her Brothers was comitted as Criminally insane. It embarrassed the hell out of her, but he already had a long criminal record.

Don't let your sister get to you. If she's embarrassed of you, then that's her issue and her problem. Either your sister is gonna be supportive of you or she's going to be more concerned about what others think. You look out for your own health, you never mind what your sister is sprouting from her mouth.

Ignore your sister she might have a medical degree but obviously no heart ..mental illness is nothing to be embarrassed about its an illness like any other...she should be ashamed of her attitude ..good luck i hope you feel better soon....

this was so wrong of her and completely unprofessional. i know if my step sister was one of the doctors and i was in the same situation i would definately have been humiliated by her since she is mean and has a twisted sense of humor. i could not even imagine how much she would humiliate me if i was in that position and if she was the doctor that treated me.
