    You are right, but he will regret not acknowledging his nephew. People can be such idiots, that child is his family;

    Hun your uncle has built up years of opinions based on what he has seen and done, you have not walked in his shoes, neither he in yours. It's unfortunate when some difference of opinion like this, occors in the family because it is important to you, and you will naturally want to defend it. You must therefore be prepared that he will more than likely never share your opinion. It's upto you if you can live with that or not. I think with time and by going about being the good mum you are that he will see your child for who he is, a blessing, and put his ignorance aside. But maybe not ?, if you cut him off he may never get the oportunity to change his mind and that would be a shame. Its a tough one , good luck :)

    Ask him if he has a good solid hold on his blood line, very few of us are as pure of a blood line as they would think. That is a good thing! It is hard to be a racist if we all are mixed up.
    Dont hate on him, just try to educate, but remember, it took him a life time to become that stupid!

    people of that generation are slow and well dumb. try to forgive them for this. then call him a racist. then also call him a hypocriticate. because he sins against the creator for ever hating another because of the colour of ones skin. so you can tell him (and prove) that he will be going to hell. and that he is racist. then walk away and teach your son how to forgive people like that because they are too dumb to know any better.

    Too bad, no matter what. It's his choice, not yours. No point taking responsibility for his decision.
