when I was recovered after my illness, i lost many weights and look skinny, so I drink a milk to gain weight ( special milk), also consumed more protein, milk with honey and yellow egg (organic chicken) mixed it and drink every morning, then eat properly, also I excercised and eat alot after that, i also drink some herbal medicine which is better than chemical, I gained my proportional wight again :)
Yo..i faced same problem couple of years ago...protiens,vitamins food its doesnt work......follow me drink 4 beers a day eat fattyfood then go to gym daily workout......within 4months u will see d result,,,,,
eat over your daily calorie intake i think its 2500 for men 2000 for woman , eat lots of protien & healthy foods, exercise, have a check up at the doctors to make sure you have no underlying medical problems ie under active thyroid. read up on well balanced diets...include foods from each food group.
High protien,soups ,milk shakes, from a health food store.
do not buy anything with steroids used for body builders.
seems like food supplements from the health store might be helful. read about food supplements. avoid steroids.
I'm not a doctor but I think you need lots of protein to build up muscle :-)
