Sometimes if a person doesn't eat a certain food in a very long time, they develop a spontaneous allergy.I know of this happening with shellfish.So, did you have fresh peanut butter previous to that?
Chances are it was the bread, peanut butter stays fresh for years...and bread mold causes almost instantaneous severe acid indigestion, followed by upset stomach and sometimes vomit.
I do not know the symptoms of peanut allergy.But I am pretty sure you described exactly what happens after eating something moldy, not including blue cheese (unless it's not labeled blue cheese).Like (1)
