NYC is preparing to ban sugary drinks. Do you think they should be able to do this?

Sugary drinks over 16oz. are banned. But people could still buy numerous smaller sizes and inflict the same harm.

Yesh! They need to fit 8,244,910 passengers on their subway system. How do you expect them to do that if everyone's morbidly obese?

No. Bloomberg is an idiot. Heard him say stupid stuff before. Off duty cop was shot but survived. He said "God was with him, maybe next time he won't be" WTF? WTF?

NYC is tired of San Francisco getting all the media attention for making stupid decisions about personal choice when it comes to food and drink.

No. Such is a waste of an effort to do so. So pointless...
If they really want to ban something, you shut down the source of it.

I think you mean they'll ban a large drink, I forgot the ounces involved. I do not agree with the ban.

I'm not sure; it starts off with just drinks, then who knows what is next. I just want to know why not go to the producers of the drinks and demand that they put less sugar in them; take on the "sugary" industry. If you're the mayor, you've got power and influence. Why not go to the source of the problem and demand better there.

Are you sure about that? I thought that it was just a restriction in the size of sugary drinks.
