Dead Can Dance
With all the world tours they've done in the last 30 years and a #1 Billboard album to their credit, and many millions of record sales, 'Dead Can Dance' is far from being an "obscure" band.
in my circle of aquaintences...they are sir
Gregory and the hawk
Me too :) found them on Neutral Milk Hotel's channel on Pandora.
Mott The hoople. ( SP )
This brings back alot of memories for me
Big Country. A Scottish band from the 1980s. Their first album, The Crossing, is great.
Wish I could say that! There are some live videos on YouTube that I watch frequently.
Can there really be an obscure band. Other than one named obscure. It is a problem, because why would anyone listen to an obsucre band. Or better why would anyone record an obscure band. Then if one thought a band was worth recording would they then be obsure?
malorys obscure but i love their music. i listen to it because it appeals to me thats why anyone listens to obscure bands. they pay for it themselves so thats why they have records. any studio(except for the big ones) will take your money to record your bands good or bad songs.
They were not always obscure.
I like Sparks.
Electric Six.. not sure if they qualify but they aren't TOO mainstream, and they make me happy. :)
:)) My favorite is Gay Bar
Among the fallen. My son is the drummer.
Thickly Painted Walls.
Wait Til Dusk

Middle Class Rut
Dragsterbarbie. A teen chick trio band from the late '90s, from Southern California. Considering their age and inexperience, they weren't bad!
Imagine Dragons! No one's heard if them that I know!!!? I love the song: Demons! What do you think?
