Near death experience for me was a time when I had crashed in my helicopter during war and it took 17 seconds to fall from the sky and it felt like a life time. My entire life of myself, my family, my love, and so many other people that have touched me and I them. Hitting the ground woke me up.

no.

But I believe. It's why I have wanted to be at the bedside of dying relatives, I KNOW they are aware that they are not alone.

A flight recently --Pilot had to abort landing seconds before landing because a plane was still at the runaway. Very early morning flight. One of the very few who was wide awake.

I was seated at the window--saw the near miss of the wing hitting the ground when the pilot picked up speed again. Nudged at my Duke and pointed at the ground.

That moment, my thoughts were of my parents and husband. I managed to say a prayer and to ask God to look after and guide them. As for my hsuband, I thanked God he was going with me ;0)

I told The Duke thereafter. He thought it was morbid of me but hey... I didnt have that much time to be explicit ;0)

We then had one angry PILOT on the PA system apologising and explaining to us for the diversion.

20 Years ago, I had kidney failure followed by seizures and cardiac arrest, I was 7 months pregnant at the time. Both my son and I are still here. I was so dead that my skin peeled off from the shock paddles. I also lost my memory for a while and to this day I have problems with short term memory. But I'm here and kicking and if anything happened during the time I was gone, It is locked away where I can't retrieve it. Also incase anyone want's to know, it only hurt up until the seizures started, after that it was no pain at all!

Several years ago I was mowing my 1 1/3 acre yard (more a hill) in 95+ heat. After about three hours I felt funny and went inside to rest. I never made it to my chair and my daughter found me several hours later. Her boyfriend (had stated he wanted me dead several times) told her I was just laying on the floor sleeping and not to bother me. She went to the store and stopped and asked my neighbor to check on me. Her and her father in law came and checked on me and called 911. I wasn't breathing, was non responsive and ice cold when paramedics got there. They told me later that I was dead when they started CPR.

The first I remember while conscious was a giant (looked like it anyway) pounding on my chest while being loaded in the ambulance. I don't remember much of the next week in the hospital. I have problems with some memory now and don't know if that was why or not.

The one thing about it that I don't talk much about because people laugh about it. I was standing across the room watching and listening to the people there and my body. I heard every word my neighbor said when she was holding my hand and crying and praying nonstop. I heard her father in law say he wanted her to go home with him and not stay with a dead body. I saw all this and saw him get my dog off me and put her in another room. I quit seeing all this when I woke for a few minuets while being loaded in the ambulance

I don't know why I am still here but know he must have some reason. There were a few other times years ago when I was drinking and using that I never should have lived but did.

I myself did not have a near death experience, but was witness to the death of a cancer patient. Having been informed of her imminent death, a number of family members were in the room with the patient. She was conscious for some time and then appeared to be unconscious. Suddenly, her eyes opened and she spoke, saying "they're waiting for me on the mountaintop." Then, she said "I'm going with God." Those were the last words she spoke. She died several moments later.
