Need I explain my every single decision I make, just to please everyone?

I was recieving RUDE PMs, so I decided to change my setting to only accept pMs from members of my circle. I tried blocking these people, but that only got me being called things like "insane". Now, I have it set up so that I accept no PMs from anyone not in my circle, but I am still finding RUDE posts saying things that make mesound like a snob! I am not a snob, but how do I get that across without having to take crap like this, and still stick to my choice?

You don't have to explain anything to me. No one has to talk to someone who they find rude or offensive.

NO! Just be yourself and do whatever the hell you want with your account. You don't have to like everyone, explain everything, or talk to everyone here. And if they don't like it, TOUGH! That's their problem and not yours. You do what's best for you and let them talk smack if they want to. You can't please all of the people, all of the time. HUGS! ;-)

I do not think you are being unreasonable, and from the few questions I have read and answered from you, you do not seem snobbish to me. I feel that blocking people might be needed at time, how ever once it is done the lines of communication are down, and there can be no good resolution.

Hey snowlady, you don't owe anyone anything, people have to remember that it's your account and you as an adult are free to do as you please with it. As for them calling you a snob, don't let it worry you because the people who count (your friends) know better as for the rest their problem hon not yours. Have a great day/night.

No matter what you do you will never be able to make everyone happy. Just hold your own opinions, be true to yourself and thats all that matters.

you're definitely a snob if most people said so..
you can't make them think otherwise
unless you post to every whiteboard on EP saying..
"hi, im not a snob.. but you can't talk to me, sorry"
