Need some advice about family relationships an I they change as you grow old?

I am a 18 year old girl I'm a daddy's girl always have been I'm a bit of a tomboy I'm pretty close with my dad an I am afraid that as I get older my relationship with him will change, he's like my best friend I spend a lot a time with him I rather hang out with him then my friends and I'm kinda scared that it will change and was wondering will it?

    YEP ! At some point you will find a boyfriend and Dad will be left behind.
    I am at that point now with my own daughter.

    The only way I see it changing is if you fall for a guy he doesn't like then that could put pretty big wedge in between other than that I don't see why it would change.

    You sound like my daughter, yes it's a compliment. Our relationship has changed over the years, she's 29 and has 3 kids of her own. We are now more equal. I respect her feelings and she mine. We have a more rounded relationship. BUT, she still calls me daddy and I will always call her my little girl.

    there are kinds of love relations and tie between people for instance
    erotic .....with sexual emotions and desires
    philia between friends with out sexual feeling
    and agape between God and peaple
    keep your love with your dad in the scope of the third one that's it

    philosophicaly , this are the 3 kinds of love and if we fear God admire him and respect him ,all that earthy and animal temptation will vanish that's why i said we should include our love to our parents in the AGAPE love , to respect them and love them pure love God create us Our parents brought us to life too

    You guys sound close, so even if you guys do drift a little i doubt it'll be for long. Growing changes somethings, but also streghtens others. You guys will be alright. :D
