I used to be in navy they best thing to do is write him a letter a day so he doesnt feel like he is missing out on life

i would get a web cam and anything to communicate with it, go to a sicologist, talk to friends, be around people who support you.

oh my heart goes out to you! well get involved in high active activities . phone old friends, if you know other army gf get in touch with them. just get on with life till he comes back!

If he is going to boot camp you wont hear from him for at least the first two weeks. But, I would encourage you to write as much as possible the more the better for both of you. I was in the Army and it was very difficult for soldiers that had girl friends, especially new ones, if he doesnt get any letters then the other guys will tease him and tell him that Johnny is with you, so make sure he gets a letter during mail call. I was fortunate because i did not have a girlfriend when I went to boot camp. So it didnt really matter, but I really felt for the poor soldiers that were wondering what their gfs were up to.
