Wanna see what an 8 yr old pregnant little girl, looks like....

Not a pretty site.to see, that's for sure...

work in an emergency room, and you will see everything, you never wanted to see, or want to imagine..seeing...

Try teaching that baby, how to deliver, her baby.....And the parents didn't evenknow, she was pregnant????

get real. people, all there is on television, and in music videos, is mimicked, by these kids...

I live in Boston and my jaw dropped when I heard FIRST GRADERS were going to get condoms. Doesn't anyone know anything but sex these day?. I don't believe ANY first grader needs a condom, and can certainly maintain their innocence a LITTLE longer before it gets destroyed. Jeez, my tax dollars at work when some of them have to share BOOKS? WTF??

if the kids are doing the deed then they need the right knowledge and equipment to ensure it is done safely. age does not seem to be a barrier to sexual activity.

A condom never hurt anyone. Stop spreading these reactionary headlines and actually investigate the policy. The program also includes high school-aged students, they simply (and smartly) didn't put a specific age limit on it. And furthermore, the child has to make a request to the school nurse and receive counseling before being given the condoms.

Disagree. another right being taken away from parent's without any say in it. But on the flip side there are to many parent's today that should never of had children to start with. They are not really a " parent " but a person with a child.

You know parenting and teaching skills drop below idiocracy levels when they give out condoms to first graders.

Well, the first graders will probably fill them with water and drop them off the garage, the same way that we did when we were kids.

things just keep getting more and more ridiculous. If the parents aren't parenting and the schools aren't teaching, condoms are the least of their worries.

    These proffered solutions are irrelevant.
