The republican party needs to be broken like a wild mustang and then restructured or replaced. I doubt that's possible in four years, but it's a major effort that has to be started immediately. The debt needs to be brought under control, but with the Tea Party still in the house it won't be easy. They need to go and the republican party needs to acknowledge that allowing the tail to wag the dog is not a good idea. Gay marriage needs to be approved on a national level but, again, no saying when that will happen. The military, prison system, etc. need to be reduced in size and brought under control for the sake of the budget.
