No Offense, but are you so close minded enough not to try wearing clean unused plastic garbage/trash/bin bags?
Hello:
I've heard a lot of people being naysay's on wearing garbage/trash/bin bags. Are you so closed minded not to try it, or are you afraid of your rep/image being tarnished. either way I'm curious if it's just a mind set or something deep seated.
Thanks

I have a deep seated prejudice against "trashbag people" myself.

Yup.
Plastic is nothing but mostly polymerised petroleum derived hydrocarbons.

I am really curious. Have you met anyone else on this site who is into the clean, unused, black, plastic trash bag idea?

it's not becoming popular, maybe to the neurotic. There's no use. Maybe your right, I don't watch fashion shows. But I hardly believe they are wearing these things! Unless you are dirt poor, I don't see why you would wear them. I wonder what else you do that's weird. Sorry, I don't mean to judge, it's just my opinion that it's silly because you haven't given a good reason other than you think it's cool

I have rocked a garbage bag a time or two, they can make an ok poncho in a pinch.

Trash bags are already old news, the new thing to wear these days are burlap sacks.

Rubbish/garbage goes in bags not people.
Why would anyone want to wear a material that does not breath and is hot and clingy when there are such great comfortable clothes out there to wear.
You are fixated on this which is a worry.

No, I'm not closeminded. I'm a woman in my sixties who prefers the look and feel of beautifully made silk to that of a trash bag with holes cut in it.

I've never even heard of anyone considering wearing trash bags as a replacemnet for clothing.
