Now is the end of Daylight savings Time. Rejoice, and be informed!
Yes, today November 3rd, 2013 ends another evil cycle of Daylight Savings Time.
This is only for those duped into thinking it makes a difference. It doesn't.
The day is as long as it is only in relation of two things.
1) The axial tilt of the Earth.
2) The Earth's orbital position in relation to our Sun.
That's all. What humans say has nothing relative in terms of changing orbital mechanics. This includes no matter what time you say it is in relation to points 1 and 2. Sorry, but then I'm not.
Death to Daylight Savings Time! Let's just abide by our planet.
Don't worry, if you like a long day in summer in the Northern hemisphere, it will happen whether you like it or not.
Personally, I love the short, dark days of winter. But that's just my preference.
And now in my slice of the world, DST is now officially dead and buried until it is called forth again like some Springtime Zombie. I will dance on its grave until such time that its ugly self crawls out of its crypt to terrorize the world once again. Us DST fighters are always at the ready not recognizing clocks set forward one hour, and keeping clocks set to standard time.
