I feel like they're all talentless fluff. 20 years from now will we really remember Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Lady Gaga or Beyonce the way we remember Freddie Mercury, Elvis, The Beatles or even Whitney Houston? *Let me rephrase: Will we remember their songs? Now you can turn on an "oldies" station and sing, word for word, a lot of the songs. Many of which are 20-30 years old.*

Amy Winehouse will be remembered.

Who the heck is that? I've heard her name a couple of times recently. What does she sing?

Best Answer

Eh. Quite honestly the only song I know of hers is "Rehab". I know she had many more but I guess I never caught wind of them.

Best Answer

Oh, yeah. She was English and most folks on here are American. Anyway, most of the world will remember her.

Best Answer

I agree. She made much better music than her hit songs that made it to the US.

Best Answer

[..better than her hits..] is usually the case.

I think everyone will be remembered unless an artist was just a one hit wonder. Whether or not they have talent is another story.

I'm pretty sure Lady Gaga will be remembered for a long time, she's more influential than people give her credit for. BUt yeah, I generally agree. Music has been kind of in a holding pattern for the last 20 years and so there haven't been any huge artists to shake things up.

I think Radiohead, hate them or love them, are probably going to stay.

AC/DC..they transcend all generations, and flat out can still Rock.
