    Nuva ring was great for about year, my periods were lighter and unlike the pill it was once a month. Well after a couple years my periods were fewer and farther apart and when they came the cramping became unbearable at times and the bleeding was heavie too. I was told by my obgyn to take it out for a couple months and lo and behold baby 2 was on her way a month later. Now I'm on an Iud and honestly both the nuvaring, and iud are better after childbirth.

    I tried it for a few weeks, and I gained 20 lbs.
