Yes, there's no way to do it. I don't want to have to reboot F-8, if I have to though, I will. Never found the way to reset it there either, mindyou! :(

you should be able to go into control panel and system and security and turn it off there.

I don't know if you want power options that one gives you all sorts of **** to extend battery life windows 7? click on the window logo on the bottom left of your screen then control panel about half way down on the right of the menu when that comes up it should be the top left deal say system and security.

that is under power options

you don't want power options. on the left of that screen there is a list of stuff g down to user accounts and family safety click on that and then on and then on change windows password.
