I've read a few books that have made me cry. A few years ago, I read the book My sister's keeper. the one they just made into a movie. I haven't seen the movie, but the last two chapters of that book, it took forever to read. I couldn't see thru my tears...
I do hope the movie is as amazing as the book was.

Hi uvynya
Mila 18 - a novel by Leon Uris set in German-occupied Warsaw, Poland before and during World War II - based on real events. It came to mind immediately when I read your question so must have made an impression - any war book I guess too but this one hot the spot it appears. I forget why now. Cry inside anyway.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a crier. Which sucks if I really need to let some feelings out. I'm saying this to give emphasis to the fact that I bawled while reading the book "Kira Kira".

'Little Women' when Beth died. Also 'The Diary of Ann Frank' to realize she died only a month before the camp was liberated. Many stories in 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' and even parts of Harry Potter. All have made me cry reading them.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I cried, but when I got to the ending of Tess of the D'Urbervilles there were tears in my eyes.
