Ok, let's say?

that your parents grounded you, and they went out, and they expected you to look after your sister, but everyone else is gone too, and you want to go over your friends house. What would you do?

I'd stay home. If something happened to sister I'd feel horrible. Besides, you can always go to friend's house after you are ungrounded.

I would stay in because I am a good girl.....

and on a more serious note I'd hate for something to happen to my sister if I left

"Honor thy father and thy mother." That's not a good idea or a piece of advice, that's the freakin' rule handed down from God Almighty!

If I was grounded, I couldn't go out except in an emergency. What kind of grounding would allow for you going over to a friend's house when you are supposed to be babysitting?

Stay and look after your sister but honor your father and mother? If they act like they deserve it of course (some don't) but handed down from "god all mighty" make me laugh ! **** that bull ****.

I would stay home and just do what YOU are TOLD to do! Better to be honest and respectful to your parents then lie and be deceitful. If you want to gain respect from your parents and prove to them you are someone who can be trusted... then you need to be an honest person. Hun, they will find out and then you will be in a bad way... they won't trust you.. and it is VERY hard to EARN trust back once it has been broken. Just stay home and do what they asked you to do. If they come home and find you there doing what they asked, they are going to really respect that and you will have proven you can be trustworthy.

I hope you make the right choice

stay home and watch your sister. if you leave and get busted, it'll be just that much longer before you're free again.

Stay home and look after your sister. You leave, and you not only prove yourself to again be the kind of person that deserves no privileges, but you expose her to potential danger.

I know that expecting you to give any thought or consideration to the feelings or safety of others is a virtual impossibility, so try looking at it this way. Guess how your parents are going to react when they find out you went traipsing off to a friend's house and left your sister alone? And yes, they will find out. You obviously still have internet access, and you probably still have access to a phone too. There's a lot more your parents can do to make your grounding far more unpleasant than it already is. Why, you might even have to resort to homework or a book for something to do. THE HORROR!

look after my sister, I'm already grounded, but then, when i was young enough to be grounded parents were allowed to beat their kids. Try being respectful and responsible
