Ok, parents out of these 3, which would be your favorite?

RANK IN ORDER
A. 17yo, honor roll student, plays foot ball, but he seems to only play it b/c it makes you happy, he even puts off going out with his gf and friends just to study b/c thats what makes you happy, plus he likes to brag to his 14yo sis about his grades and the more privileges he has b/c of it, and b/c of this he and the 14yo stays into it.
B. 15yo, who is learning disabled, and really child-like, and requires lots of extra help and attention, and she also picks on the 14yo by going in her room, and going through her stuff, sometimes putting on her clothes and shoes, and she knows the 14yo does not like this, so b/c of this her and the 14yo stays into to it.
C. 14yo, average student, cheerleader, and very outspoken, has her own personality, very mature, and knows what she wants out of life already, and could care less that you are not happy with her grades or her ways, she is very content despite the fact that you hire a tutor to try and embarrass her, she is still proud.

I would like to think i wouldnt play favourates.
I am the oldest of 3 and when my dad is drunk (a lot of the time) he often tells my brother and me that our sister is his favourate.
And its obvious my little bro is mums because he is the baby of the 3. Which leaves me stuck in the middle.
So, i know how it feels, feeling left out.
To be honest i don't know how to answer your question (sorry)

I choose the kid that doesn't have an ego the size of Russia's frozen wasteland.

Wow. Sounds like a really awesome 14 year old. So mature. Poor thing, the world is against her but they just don't understand how brilliant and cool she is. And, she's a cheerleader. LIke, OMG, who could question a girl with that much maturity....totally, like, not cool.

I say just give the 14 year old a wad of cash and tell her to get lost, she knows everything anyways. Then, when she winds up like the young girl in the movie "Traffic", her parents can decide if they want her dumb a$$ back or not.

A- the really proud 14yo should realize that the childlike 15yo is immatating her sister because she likes her and not to be a pain.
B- that mature girl should understand that her brother plays football because he wants to show his appreciation to his parents by doing something that makes them happy.
she should also realize that by makeing some sacrafices now and doing good in school, life might be alot easier when she is older.
C- that outspoken 14yo should learn humility and realize that her parents love all there childeren and want them to do there best in school and in life

but that 14yo probally wouldn't care!

If I was their mother I'd love them all.

I can admit that my love for my two sons is different. Two completely different feelings of love for two completely different little boys.

Different and equal.

Since C cannot have a thought that doesn't involve comparing herself to others, she would emotionally drain me in a hurry. I would love her, but from a distance.

You can never rank your children. Each child is unique.
I know they drive you nuts from time to time - I am a teacher. SMILE

As a parent I consciously make sure that I have NO favorites. As a parent I look for those qualities that make each child stand out. It seems like you have identified those qualities in A and C, but I am sure that B has some fine qualities too.

I would have a problem if any of my kids felt like I didn't think that they were one of the best kids in the world. I know that both of mine know I know how awesome they are.

All parents love their children the same and want the best for them. It's just maybe because of the situation, they might pay more attention to one of them, because they simply need it.

I've answered this before! I wouldn't like any. And the parents probably didn't want any of them either. And if they did, well they sure as hell wouldn't by now.

You said parents....ALL of my kids are my favorite. I do have to do more for one than the other, but because I talk and play with them all together, it makes everything easier. I have CONSTANTLY told my kids that I want them to do what's going to make them happy in life....they KNOW that once they graduate from high school that they are going to do one of three things....get a job, go to college or go to the Military....the choice is theirs! My kids know that I love them and that I'm proud of them....I'm divorced now...my step kids still come around and they tell me that they understand why I was the way that I was and they are trying to raise their kids the way that I was trying to raise them. My two.....the oldest has been in the Army for nine years and the youngest will be graduating from high school June 1 and she plans to go into the Army as well.....she'll be graduating with honors (my son graduated with honors as well) and she's going into the health field and will be going to college while in the Army (my son is working on his Bachelors...a few months to go). I am VERY PROUD of my kids........this question you asked of parents....I've had group discussions with other parents and I haven't come across one yet who have more than one kid and can answer which one is their favorite without saying ALL OF THEM! Take Care!
