Dating. Seeing anyone. Allowing them any say at all in my life. That is why I haven't dated since the late 1980s. I really don't ever again want anyone telling me I am NOT allowed to do something. Like spend a weekend with my grandchildren.

I get mixed feelings about how much my care for them may be clouding my judgment for if they are right for me. Then again, if I even think that once, it's a sign that the relationship is probably not right for me.
