I agree with sweetdeanie. I have no fear of death. If anything, I fear that it won't be quick and painless or that my children will have to witness an ugly scene and that is not how I want them to remember me.

Why does anyone fear of death? There is no way to avoid it.

More then a fear of death, its an unsettled feeling of knowing there is many unanswered questions and being able to always accept them as that. Or we might confuse ourselves to death with all the ifs, ands, and buts...
I don't worry too much as to how I'm going to die either. I feel more for the ones that are hurt grieving me. Because now i know the secret, or i just don't :) .....Of course I'd prefer a peaceful goodbye to the world!!
"Early man walked away
As modernman took control
There mind's weren't all the same
And to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire
And he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man
He killed himself in his own mind
We're only gonna die for our own arrogance,
that's why we might as well take our time"~~ :) -
People who chose to look beyond the material world are the ones who realize the importance of leading a spiritual life. They do not fear death and look at it as simply a new beginning somewhere else. .

Not much you can do about it , it is going to happen in the way it is.. So just let it be.

There is no reason to fear anything that is part of life in my opinion, but that being said I don't like when loved one's die or when people die in horrid circumstances, it's not death I fear but how I might die - I'd like to go painlessly in my sleep.
