People on this site seem cold hearted and unwillinv g to extend their hand in friendship. I've been nice and?

answered quite a few questions in an attempt to try and help out. At the very least, if were me, I would surely offer my thanks. There was 1 very nice woman who helped me out when i was experiencing a rough time with a certain question. In turn I gave a little online gift. People seem to quick to attack you with hurtful language but are short on the pleasantries. I'm apprehensive about asking anyone to be my friend. I mistakingly said i was a FAN of someone yesterday and she comes back with an e-mail wondering why I would do such a thing as if I did something terrible. On the question i answered for her, she said absolutely NOTHING! But her querie did not reflect how she came across in real life. Ok guys, I will give the site a chance. But this is about helping out others to a large degree. Hey, KRAGENGIRL..I've noticed that to b the case on here. I never was any good at fabricating stuff or acting a phony..

Unless you're an EP supporter you can't answer people on questions, and sometimes you can't get back to say thank you to everyone who makes a comment on a story. Give it time... in the meantime look for a group that has similar interest as you do, there you can connect with people who you have something in common with. Rated: +4Vote for this!

I don't think its fair to say this blanket statement... Just ignore those who are rude and continue enjoy the rest of the site. Before adding someone to your circle, send them a PM and tell them why you are adding them - what story you read that touched you or inspired you. We are all (for the most part) strangers on here sharing ideas, stories and knowledge.. Friendships are neither her nor there. I personally mean no offense when I don't offer a personal thanks or gift to every single person who has become my fan, answered a question or sent a gift. I appreciate those things, but I don't seriously think about it too much to feel like I am indebted to anyone here for sharing their ideas, story or knowledge.. and vice versa (I don't want anyone to feel indebted to me if I offer good advice, knowledge, etc...). I think a virtual friendship is extremely different than an actual real life friendship and those are the friendships I tend to show my gratitude and giving nature. So in full, don't take this site or any online site for that matter - too seriously. Just have fun and enjoy learning off others. Rated: +2Vote for this!

Its an immoral world we woke up in and the badder you are the more friends you will make. I love to write back to people or stay in touch but it just isn't working out for me here, people dont want to hear about everyday things in normal lives, maybe if I make things up I will get attention......... I've met many people here that I like BUT I'm of the mind that unless I really KNOW you in RL...well...I'll offer support to those I've come to like here but I don't feel that I'm under any obligation to "Help" everyone whom I come across.
