Piano Tuning Guy, tuned piano but Now the Sustain pedal is too sensitive. Can i do something about it or fix it myself?

Q&A Home   >  Hobbies   >  Music

Now as soon as you press the Susstain pedal a little...it goes all the way Sustain Full.

It's not really how it's supposed to be.
So what can i do?
Or is that how pianos are supposed to be.

By the way it's an upright accoustic piano

Uh, call'em back to readjust it? There has to be some preassumed warranty on his work right? Did you get a chance to test it out before he left? I'm not sure what all is involved with tuning a piano, but if it wasn't like that before, I would think it shouldn't be like that after no? Wouldn't hurt to call, especially if he wants your repeat business.
