Please advise me on how to handle this situation?

i broke up with a guy about 2 weeks ago ..you all know why i posted the story then! i've been doing o.k without him and i know its the right decision...but i still miss his 2 1/2 yr old son.....how do i handle that?

You have to let it go. To try to continue a relationship with the little boy will only confuse him. It will hurt for awhile, but you'll heal and at his age, the little boy will forget about you in a very short time.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound cruel, but kids live for the moment, right now, not the next hour or the next day. Actually, we could learn a lot from them. They don't look back because they are absorbed with the present and just accept that there will be a future.

I'm so sorry. I can relate. You have to let him go.. It will be hard on the little boy to see you come and go, come and go. You have to consider what is best for him.

well if you two still get along after the break-up what's wrong with you visiting or doing some fun family type of activities with his son, that's if he doesn't mind? if you two are still on good terms then let him know.
