be the mature one. your brother is using very childish means to get attention because he probably feels that your parents love you more than him. your parents should be staying out of it but maybe that's where your bro got it from in the first place. or they're just too tired to get involved in you and your bro's little squabbles. let it go and it will go away in time. just smiile and tell him you love him anyways and that you understand why he does this, which will totally freak him out.

Need more info Catdog. How old is your brother and what exactly is he doing? Nobody should have to suffer physical or verbal attacks and you must act on this fast. If you can give a little more detail without giving out personal details, maybe somebody on here could help. If you are UK based you could call Childline on 0800 1111. They are well set to provide help with problems such as yours.
    Hope this helps.

And people wonder why kids go postal on their family......contact family services. You need protection and since your parents won't do it, someone will make sure it gets done.

Don't retaliate by insulting him back. :(

Exactly how is he hurting you? Physically? Saying rude things?

Do you have a teacher or school counselor you can talk to about this?
