Political correctness makes us sound stupid, retarded, whimpy and fearful over people's inner insecurities. Agree?

Most things people talk about being PC are just manners..and if it's that hard for you to be polite...perhaps you should just avoid people in general.

Political correctness is always okay until someone isn't so politically correct with that particular person.

You're wrong! And I don't mind saying so. My children tell me I am addicted to truth and honesty and couldn't lie if my life depended on it. You have to be able to lie to be politically correct.Like (1)

Niggardly - a perfectly good word in the English language that people are scared to use anymore because it sounds so much like the N-word.

Not all the time but many times, yes. Louis CK has an awesome stand-up bit where he says he hates hearing "the n-word" - not "n-gger", but literally "the n-word" because everyone knows what it means, and it just makes them say it in their heads like "oh, he means n-gger.". So to try to be politically correct is like not being responsible for your own brashness and then throwing it onto the shoulders of everyone else. Only, he made it funny, obviously.

Those who are political at all are the ones with inner turmoil over the superfluous. It serves nothing but hatred and disagreements. And supposed authority.
