Problems with education(read details)

IN MY OPINION, school focuses too much on academic subject, failing to teach students life skills that they will need in the real world. They are consumed with teaching bookish theories except for maybe biology. In the end, highschool students graduate with a bunch of information and with almost no practical life experiences. So any suggestions on how this defect be eleminated?

I think there's a balance which needs to be struck here. The "real world" is full of situations where knowledge of the theory and background is required in order to do original research or find innovative solutions to problems. It isn't the school's job to teach kids how to get out of bed on time in the morning. You get practical life experience by doing things yourself: the purpose of eduction is give you an idea of what type of life experience you want or are suited for.

Life skills and or college skills is a freshman college class at many community and junior colleges.

To date, these classes have higher enrollments than in years past because common sense and practicality has fallen...

Theories that are good but no practical purpose.Daily prayers and practices that we won't keep up with.Declare young kids as winner and loser to the extend some quit.
The parents expect teachers to shape up their career where as teachers anticipate good parenting at home.
If neither is willing , the children are ruined for ever.

Partially agree with you. English is important too. That seems to be less important in the US. The majority of other countries are able to speak at least two languages yet our educational system do not seem to care if our students can spell their own. Language should begin in grade school.

Well said,we are only creating parrots here but to pattern a new way in education requires detailed layout here and I don't think this place is sufficient enough to describe.
