Pros: you can do what you want. No one to answer to, no one to get mad at you over stupid stuff. You have complete freedom. Cons: Occasional loneliness.

Pro: there is nothing like the freedom of doing whatever you want..being single is great. boredom or lonliness, you can still experience those, even when you are in a relationship.

I wish I was single but there is a stigma attached to singletons over the age of about 35, I was under pressure a few years ago ppl saying to me ''Oooh you better start looking for a partner so you wont end up a lonely ol lady'' and such...age thing is always present. When you're in your early twenties it's ok but after that the pressure starts. I don't want to get to forty and be a singleton but the relationship I am in now is dead on its feet, I feel. We do nothing but argue. If it carries on this way I will have no other option but to break free. He is controlling and can be picky and fussy. I have my eye on another guy but to be honest I wouldn't want to dive into another relationship so soon....

Pros: free to flirt whith any hotty, free to go dance whith other guys, more time to hang whith friends, more time to get to know other guys better, dont hav to worry bout your family likening the guy, less stress.
Cons: when you want to go to the movie or out to dinner you don't always hav a guy there to go with u, u don't hav a guy to walk you to your car when it's dark (can be nice), and sometimes you just miss the affection.
That's all I can think of for now!!!

Pro - no one can tell you what to do. you can talk with who you want and you can flirt with who you want.

Con - being single can be very very lonley
