Psoriasis anyone? How do you handel your flare ups? My meds dont work after awhile.?

If you haven't already tried this, drink lots of water! Don't eat proccessed food, artificial additives, high glycemic foods. If you want to be brave, try cutting out all animal products(you could eat fish and low fat, organic dairy if you don't want to go all the way). Anything to help the inflammation that goes on inside your body when you eat unhealthy things. I don't have psoriasis but I have had horrible trouble with acne and these things help trmendously for me!! Also, I take fish oil, evening primrose oil, flax oil, and vitamin e supplements, for skin health. If I stop taking those, I notice the skin on my face gets dry and irritated, so I am prone to skin troubles. Also, I use the Derma-E Psorzema creme, which has soothing herbs, and it's not scented. Hope something helps! I know what it's like, to be fed up with your skin...

Go swimming in the public pool the clorine helps it.

This may help,since I've had radiation treatment to my throat,I have dry scaley skin over my nose,eyebrows and under my eyes.I can't remember who told me last week. But I now apply white vinigar twice a day. And believe it or not,it's working.

I have Psoriasis. That was one reason I moved to Florida, for the warmer weather. Believe it or not, when I would go snorkeling the salt water really helped. Dead Sea salt works wonders too, just have to look around to find it. I got some lotion that contained Dead sea salt and it worked too. I also use baby bath, baby oils when I can't get to the beach. Just have to find what works for you. Good luck to you :)
