Get used to it. That´s how you are going to feel for the rest of your life. But it is fun !! It is called living on Planet Earth !!

Decide on something in which to immerse yourself that you find fun, interesting and fulfilling.
Then get serious about it.

Enjoy life, because you are still young. Get serious about your job or school or both, but enjoy your weekends to the fullest. Don't go off trying to find a soul mate. Love happens when you least expect it. So just go and enjoy yourself, act responsibly, but have fun. (In other words, drink 'til your hammered, but call a taxi) ;-) No need to grow up all in one day. Just take it a step at a time. ALso, there's a good book that is actually called "QUarter life Crisis' i forget the author but look it up, its an interesting read and has other people's quarter life crisis' =) Best wishes to you, but u'll be fine!

We must be in the same conundrum. Me TOO. I am 40, and am finally free of raising kids, and know I am supposed to be all serious and responsible, but I want my fun, too. Shall we go out together? Maybe we can have both, as long as we know how to balance it. Not letting one overrun our lives more than the other, you know?

Have fun.

Always have fun.

Life is too short to have a stick up your ***. Let loose and have some stupid fun.

I'll tell you what I have told both my kids as they have grown up. Play hard now and you will work hard the rest of your life...work hard now (meaning make a great foundation for yourself) and you will be able to make a choice of what you want to do for fun and play.

I also told them that it's important to like who you are as a person and to never give up things like art, music, writing, whatever hobbie it is that makes you ...you. You have to have a balance but with a strong foundation.

Advice:
I'll be 70 before the year is out. Burn the candle while you can. You can be serious when you are 75

i think it's all a balance but i do believe that you should focus on life a bit more... if you do that now you can enjoy more fun later.

I figure you can have a little of both. It won't hurt, I promise.

Get the party fun out of your system. Buckle down and start living. Have other kinds of fun.

Do both. Work to live, and play to have fun. Take advantage of every opportunity and believe in yourself.Learn to enjoy the simple pleasures in life..and try not to get into debt...that is a great fun spoiler. Good Luck GoldenDoor.

everybody's already said it-- balance. a little work, a little play.
BUT, one thing i would add. if there is anything you really want to do, any big dream you have, position yourself in such a way as to make it a reality. it may be, as john lennon said, "life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans," but a little strategy here and there can make all the difference.

Make a balance. The good thing about life is that you have a lot of time; you can try things out. The good thing about first world societies is that you (usually) have more than one chance.
There is no reason to **** around and possibly ruin one of those chances... you don't know how many you'll need!
Just flow, my friend... don't take life too seriously, but make a decision... where do you want to be? If you don't know, which decision would you be more proud of having made in the end? Then, what do you need to do to get there?

Balance! Get serious with work, but don't stop having fun, just have fun with more discretion. You can be a good guy with a little fun, mysterious side. Work it!
