You anti-gun people need to go live in some touchy-feely communist, socialist country like Europe. The USA belongs to those who respect their heritage... instead of ******* on everything our fathers fought for.

They didn't fight for the right of your country to be drowning in firearms. It's disgusting and it's a shame on your culture.

"Trophy" hunting is a senseless waste of beautiful creatures.
Gun ownership is a completely different topic, people own guns for many reasons, some are collectors, some are target shooters, some are hunters, some have them for protection and all of those are valid reasons
The man who owns a gun to make himself feel like a man is a pitiful specimin

    Ohhhhh? That is soooooo misandrist.

Do the women I walked with when I left a meeting Tuesday night feel "like men" because they carried guns in their belts? Or did they just feel more safe on the streets down town after dark?

If you don't feel safe on your own streets, maybe it is because your society is flawed?

No I don't think so if one goes hunting, and actually eats the animals they shoot and kill then I personally see no problem with it. Not everyone is skilled with the bow and arrow.

Killing period is wrong. you dont need to eat animals in order to live this is proven fact around the world. millions of people live just fine with out eating meat. so killing any animal for any reason is simply cruel. Hare Krishna

I agree, hunting for sport with high powered weapons is no sport at all, when they come back from persistence hunting expedition with prey in hand, I'll be impressed. But even then the Kalahari Bushmen hunted for food and not sport.

hunting for sport is disgusting, hunting for food is necessary. i also hate when someone stuffs an animal and hangs it on their wall.

What does that prove? Technically a six year old could shoot a deer and have same thing. Sad people.

First contention: Nope - guns have nothing at all to do with being a man, and to continue the sexist slant inferred in your question, sewing machines don't make the woman either. Hunting is a sport, and there's nothing wrong with it if it is done responsibly.

I disagree. If you have to get your jollies killing something, you are pretty pathetic.

Well, I don't think you are pathetic for holding that view. I respect it. We'll just have to agree to disagree since there's nothing to gain by debating the point.

Mmm.. so you'd rather someone shoot the beef in the head in a commercialized setting. Very moral of you. I hunt for sport, and I eat everything I kill. Condemning everyone who hunts is like condemning everyone who's ever seen a child naked- they're all pedophiles!

Hunting is not required to be a man but hunting animals is not a cowardly act necessarily. I read the question and the jump to conclusion was badly flawed and judgmental. Sorry about your situation. I hope you solve it one day.
