I think the changes will be party related. Democrats and Republicans have a two different groups of people they try to appeal to. The democrat's front is that they represent the average american who needs the government to take of basic social services such as health, education, social security etc. The Republicans represent the wealthier americans who supposedly create the jobs and without them (supposedly) the economy would collapse. <br />
Both parties are full of baloney because what ever party is in power, the politicians still answer to the bureaucrats that pay them. So, as for making America a more secure place to live for the citizens - I doubt their will be changes in that regard, but as far as changes in what areas more or our money will be pumped into - yes, that will depend on which party is spending the money.

Elected leaders are supposed to provide leadership. When leadership is lacking, elected officials become nothing more than ridiculed politicians.
