    Yes there is a choice, call it what you will , god, karma or fate push our lives in certain directions so the chalenges or direction are dictacted but the out come and the direction we take on the path is of our making

    It suggest he knows who we are based on our inherited genes from our parents it doesn't mean we are destined to a certain person.

    Depends. You could rationalize it by saying that just because God knows everything and knows what we're going to do, doesn't mean we're not the ones choosing to do it. However if God created everything then he created us to be the way that we are, knowing that we would make these decisions.. so no. Religion has never been rational anyway.

    Neither pre-destination nor free will can be proven. God exists outside of time, so both terms are completely meaningless.
