Runners: Do You Run Toward Traffic or With the Flow of It?

I always run with the flow of it...but got yelled at by some fake-looking wench in an expensive SUV after she had to wait for me to clear a hill to go around. I see people running both ways--but which is technically correct? I run in a very hilly area and don't like to face the traffic. People tear over those hills...and if I'm to get hit, I'd rather not see it coming. Cheers and thanks!

You should run toward the traffic so they can see you and you them. But its not a law (I don't think) so whatever you're comfortable with.

Toward the traffic for the very reason you don't. If someone is coming my way, I'd like the chance to get out of the way.
