What is the REAL reason physicians won't even DISCUSS prescribing Vicodin for the WELL-DOCUMENTED, chronic pain conditioner I have that is severe enough to have qualified me for Disability??? They act, literally, like I'm not even talking.

You're doctor knows more than you do about this sort of thing, if they say no. There is a good reason. Vicondin is addicting and has harmful side effects. If you are thinking you know more about such a thing let me remind you that your doctor had to go through 4 years of college. 4 years of medical school. an internship, a residency, a fellowship if they are a specialist and THEN they can be your doctor. Basically that is 14 years of school. The short answer is, because they know it isn't the best treatment for you.
