Sex preditors deserve the death penalty, yes or no and why?

They need to be lock away for the rest of their lives, but 9 times out of 10, most sex preditors have been raped or molested thats why they prey on others...they need help!!!

Yes kill um all... they take from u something that u can never get bk, so why should they get to sit in jail with all the comforts like food, TV ,computers and just having a roof over there nasty heads so for me yes kill um and make it hurt..

totally. pedos should be first in line. they tend to be completely maladjusted with no quality of life anyway and it's not like they recover. it's one thing to have problems, it's quite another to be a violent predator with no real remorse other than the fact they were caught.

I think that most people DESERVE the death penalty just for being their scummy selves, but that is just me.

I am not comfortable putting anyone to death. Even as a survivor I wouldn't want their death. For me I believe that the evil they put forth will one day haunt them ten fold. I think they should be imprisioned for life with never a chance of freedom. I have been know to sometimes wish for castration, but death no.

Just gather them all up and put them together on an island in the middle of nowhere and let them resolve their own issues.

you bet. Take the jerk out after he is found guilty and execute the jerk the same day. No exceptions and no long waits while living on the state. Get rid of him or her and show that the state will do this to the next person.

If I had a kid and they hurt my kid, I'd kill them myself.

no ..because alot of them may have been abused as children as well. Im not justifying it..I just dont think killing them is the solution. I have read that something as traumatic as child abuse can hinder brain developemt which can lead to some of the urges they have.

I don't believe in the death penalty
We dont have it in my country anyway which Iam happy with.
These people are screwed in the head nd its so unfortunate but the best punishment is to put them in jail for along time, 90% of these people show alot of remorse unlike hanible lector ,(:

no they belong in a jail with bad, bad, people.
they are like that for a reason, weak, insecure, and they prey on the defenseless.
maybe people should stop being so defenseless.
exceptions for elderly, if they prey on elderly, then they should be made to sacrifice their space.

Most offenders of sex crimes are or where victims themselves. Removing them from society to prevent them from causing harm is preferred.

Did you know that famous Sci-fiction author Arthur C Clarke has openly admitted to being a ********* (young boys) which is why he moved to Sri Lanka. Admittedly if it could be proved he had committed an actual crime he should be removed from general society, but his talents should not be wasted - the gentleman has an amazing talent as an author. Many of the ideas mentioned in his novels have assisted the development of new technologies - some of which you use today.

I don't think as far as the death penalty but I do think they need more severe sentences. They are the most likely criminals to re-offend. Their crimes also deaply effect people badly.

Yes, BUT they would then get off too easily. They should be put into a jail where there is no priviledges such as TV, computers, Education. They need to rot in hell and never be let out. No such thing as rehabilitation, cos thats total BS they get out & do it all over again! they deserve to suffer more so, than the pain, hurt and suffering they have instilled in others by their actions.

No, most countries don't even have the death penalty for murder now. Why treat sex offenders more harshly than, say, terrorists?
