Should fireworks be restricted to organised events only?

I'm a little torn to be honest.
Fireworks are basically bombs, and bombs really shouldn't be in the hands of just anyone. Then again, my state makes a lot of money off fireworks sales and stuff like firecrackers, bottle rockets, and cherry bombs are illegal, so I guess it depends on where you buy them.Like (2)

Things have gotten better over the years, growing up kids used to buy them and chuck them around, hated walking home from school near bonfire night. Now strictly for sale to adults and people seem more educated about using them safely. I know they are banned in many countries. I don't buy them myself (still traumatized from the bad old days) but many sane sensible adults do, so no.

A long time ago in a land far, far away, there once were free men.
GOVERNMENT should be restricted to fixing the roads and organizing events.Like (2)

No. How else would idiots manage to injure themselves and burn down their own homes?

I wished they'd stop shooting fireworks weeks after July 4th, New Years, and other holidays.

No to "Restricted to Organized events" I see nothing confusing about the answer except perception. I am confused by the reply. I said nothing to indicate everyone should have them or how you came to that conclusion.Like (1)

YES!My state just made fireworks legal after many years of them being illegal.Just what we need-more drunken TP rednecks destroying the summer nights.A complete disaster.
