Guns are the only reason America still alows freedom of speech. Our government is still scared to try to take our freedoms. That is why they are raising armies, police, etc.

I would hope that it would remain an empty threat. After all, governments work very hard to pin us against each other instead of the puppet masters who are above them in many cases.

Almost NOTHING should be banned, let alone guns. We already have a ban on armed robbery...doesn't work. We ban murder, rape, etc....all still common. Education and freedom are answers, government control is not.
When my gun is taken, who will still have them? You trust police and government but not law abiding citizens?

yeah great if we punish them AFTER the crime instead of trying to prevent it that will make the corpses all feel better and come back to life.

Its worth it for sure if someones innocent but the ones that have been proven guilty by admitting it should not sit on death row for years ...they admitted it so be gone with them

Guns ARE banned for criminals but that doesn't prevent them from having them. While it's been proved that the death penalty doesn't prevent people from killing, it does prevent them from killin again.

Go talk with the Australians. They wonder why their crime rate has soared since their government passed sweeping gun laws.

Why not one form of murder is equal to another so why give gun murders an easy ride but stop the state.

Guns should never be banned. To own a firearm is one of the most civilized things a person can do. They are the great equalizer. I don't own/sometimes carry a firearm because I'm perinoid, I do so so I don't have to be. In the history of the world a firearm has never taken a human life. They are just tools. A good man once told me when I was a child; "A gun is no better or worse than the man who carries it." I never forgot that and when he passed away years later you can bet I was at his funeral.

Besides, they are fun to shoot and I like to reload.

your a moron banning makes it harder for a criminal to get one i.e actually trying to limit the gun murders . Next!

Your the moron. Banning guns would make it so that only criminals have guns...It could also cause a civil war. Banning guns would be as effective as banning alcohol.

    Odd question.
    You realize that the,
"State Hires a man to kill a person and that is Justice."
"YOU Hire a man to kill a person and that is MURDER."

And Guns should never be banned, as then the only people to have them will be the government and the criminals, "and they are interchangeable."
