Adopting pets is the only way to go, imo.

Great idea! Cats are fun, cute little pets to have! I have had cats all my life. I have one right now, and a hamster, too. :)

If you do get one from the animal shelter. Both my dogs and my cat are animal shelter rescues and they are the best pets.

I have a daughter who is director of a humane society facility. By all means adopt! There are so many lovable cats waiting for a good home.
