Should i be patient? ,or should i call it quits?

i don't know if i should still continue with the guy i ve been seeing for two years but claims he's not ready for a relationship with me because he doesn't want us to end in a bad way, like he's other girlfriends..sometimes i wonder why i let us go for this long..but i love him, and he claims he loves me to but not ready for a relationship with me because he's determined that he wants his next relationship be real..does that even make any sense?..its soo irrational..i don't know what to do..he said i should wait and be patient, but its been 2 years now..and i m still waiting..

I am wondering what your meaning of a relationship is? Marriage? Living together?

Well then, you may have the wrong person if that is your ideal of happiness. I have had to tell many females that myself (I will never marry) and it hurts like hell but I will never be married by the state. In Gods yes but not in the states eyes. However, I do know for a fact that loving, bonding, relationships work without marriage I am in a Female Led Relationship and she has said that she will never marry as well. I will be married in Gods eyes someday and I hope someday soon and this was her ideal but I have always known this would happen one day.

Call it quits.......I know from experience....life is too short to wait around on a man and you are wasting your time when you could be finding happiness in someone who really wants to be with you!

What you just discussed is a relationship. Not a good one. Kick him to the curb for the jerk he is.

At your age you evidently have the social skills to get into relationships (well, this one sounds dysfunctional), so move on and find another, and learn from this one. The guy wants somebody to take the place of his mommy, not a woman.
