Forgiveness is for YOUR benefit, not hers. If you don't want to spend the rest of your live carrying a festering sore inside you, forgive her and let it go.

Just because you forgive someone doesn't mean that you are approving of what they did, or saying that what they did was excusable. Carrying around resentment doesn't hurt anyone except for you. RedWirenut	Posted Sep 11th, 2009 at 8:16PM There's a lot more details to be considered. I sense the implication that you were wrongly accused, but you don't QUITE come out and say it. Did she retract her unjust accusation and apologize? Does she still believe it was you? Did you consider it consensual at the time and she later rescinded her consent? Rated: +2Vote for this!
