Should I just believe he doesn't love me all of a sudden or is it PTSD and he needs me now more that ever?

If he is drinking as much as you think he is, he may have just been really, really drunk. He might not remember anything tomorrow! As far as PTSD goes, the military has been dishonorably discharging people who get psych evaluations for PTSD. The psychiatrists have been saying that these men have depression instead of PTSD and the military just keeps getting away with it because they don't want to pay for the troops conditions. If he is off of the base, try to get him to a counselor so that he will get the help he needs and will be able to maintain his military status. Good luck and God bless you both.

He believes that you will never understand what he went through. And he doesn't want to have a warm, girly share-time about it. It isn't proper for a man to weigh down a woman with such details.

Yes, he needs you more than ever. Except it will not be in his nature to ever let you know that. You decide what you want to take on. From my conversations with Vietnam vets, especially those that served in Special Forces, you may never get the truth. Are you okay with that? If so, be patient and persistent.

Start with going to the Chaplain. Thats the best place to start. They are trained to help with pretty much anything. They can help stear you guys in the direction you need to go.

I guess you are not married? You should both see a marriage counselor to straighten this out.
