I would look at it like this...don't you want a guy who knows 100% that he wants you, from the start without any "complicated" BS?....it seems as though he likes that he has you emotionally when it suits him, via the ultimate noncommittal form of communication - the text message.....

"It's complicated" is not an answer. I suggest having your friends work him over for a real explanation.

In persuing it you mean continue talking to him? or actually asking him out on a date and/or talk about having a relationship? That would be good to try and find out.....its worth it to know if there is hope and if not then yes, let it go.

Maybe it is just complicating for him. Maybe hes a rocky relationship past. Or maybe, like some others have said, hes married or in a relationship. Or maybe, hes just really commitment shy. At this point though, I would ask him straight out what he wants/expects from you.

it depends on how bad it bothers you.if its like a little flirting well maybe no. but if it disrupting everything you are trying to do thats a different story.

Is he married? Engaged? Betrothed? Gay? A secret agent? What else could be complicated?

I agree with CHAMBER005, he must have someone else. I think he is leading you on and keeping you around in case that relationship doesn't work out. Therefore, you are not his first choice. You will always be chasing him and he will allow you to do that, but keep in mind you will always be second best. Do yourself a favour and move on, it's not worth your sanity!!!
