Should i quit my subbing job? they never call me lately
i lost my job over a yr ago in a resort cause of two hip surgeries and after i left i had a knee surgery as well, back in oct after ive healed up some i went to a job fair and talked to someone from the school district about doing some para aide subbing, she sent to me orientation, did fingerprints and background checks and then i started doing some subbing, in the beginning i wasa getting called every other wk, in feb i got called one time, but i didnt have enough experience for the job and got sent home and only paid for an hr, in march so far i got zero calls, i even added stuff on my application like bus monitor, babysitting after school and even working in the kitchen, to be honest im tired of getting up early for nothing only to not get called day after day and i feel guilty if i sleep in, right now im filling out applications for mystery shopping, i think i might have better luck with them , should i chuck this school stuff? im getting tired of false hope. any suggestions?

Is your name available to all the schools in the district? You will increase the chances of being called as the number of schools with your name increases.
