Resolved Question

Should I stay with my live-in boyfriend, or leave him and our life to see if I'm a lesbian?

I've been with my current boyfriend for over two years, and we are currently living together and attending college.

I'm 20 and he's 22.

Recently I've been confused about my sexual orientation. I don't feel any sexual attraction to my boyfriend. I think I may actually be a lesbian.

But dispite all of this, my boyfriend is my very best friend. Even though in some ways I find that we are incompatible (such as our money habits) I love him. I don't want to hurt him.

I also find that it is convenient to stay in our relationship. Why fix what isn't broken?

He's a very good person and he loves me a lot.

What should I do? I feel so confused. It seems to be all I think about, but I want to do the right thing.

Should I stay or should I go?

Not feeling any sexual attraction to your boyfriend could stem from many reasons. But if you aren't feeling it, you aren't feeling it. I say take the opportunity to explore, and cherish what you had with him.

You should go....TO A COUNSELOR.... they can help you sort out all the orientation issues, you're having....and you can do that, without leaving a great guy, until you're sure of what it is you want.

Step one is to tell him what's going on. If he's as good to you as you say he is, he will support you in your search.

Both you and your BF deserve love...he should have someone who loves and desires him, you should too. Wouldn't you hate to have someone stay with you because it's easier?

Well People go thought things when it comes to sex.
Many young people try the swinging thing with guy & girls.
Does not mean your lesbian. Seek council. It may pass. And don't let some strong Butch sway you. Talk to a God of your understanding. What would you tell your daughter?
Give time, Time..
Good luck & God Bless you
