Should I still have read my speech knowing that one of my classmates grandmother recently passed away?

My speech was about my grandfather and my clssmates grandmother recently passed away. Should I have read it knowing that she was still grieving?

I agree with the other comment. I'm guessing that when you wrote it, you didn't know about her grandmother. You can help what happened.
I would suggest using this as a chance to help the classmate. Let her know that you are sorry for her loss, and that you understand that she is hurting, that you would too in her place. Be there if she needs someone. You are obviously a caring person, or you wouldn't be concerned about this. Right now, she could probably do with a friend like you.

yes you should its sad when someone leaves us but they wouldnt want you to stop your life for them
