Should it bother me that my best friends boyfriend doesn't like me?

My best friend recently told me that her boyfriend does not like me. At the mention of this I stood up and shouted, "Aha! I knew it." Whenever he would see me he would just frown or his happy attitude would change. He never spoke to me much, and when he did, he was very fake about it. His nice gestures and compliments were just so...fake. But now I find that he doesn't like me for an unknown reason. I bring out the bitter side in him and he can't stand me when I'm around. I really don't talk to him at all, and I wonder if it should bother me that he doesn't like me..

It is a red flag. It is possible that he is trying to disintegrate your relationship with her to keep her to himself. It shows selfishness and fear. Maintain confidence, communication, and openness with your friend. It will naturally overwhelm his bravado if he is, indeed, such a *****.

I wouldn't be bothered by it....I would just make sure I stayed very much in my best friend's life....he is most likely trying to make you feel uncomfortable so you will not come around as much.
